Social Groups
Social Groups are designed to connect people to our church and each other in order for them to take next steps to help their relationship with God get better and better. This happens through connection to Hosts, communication through a chat, consistent monthly hangouts, and community-driven spontaneous meet-ups. Social Groups also hold these five values.
Goal is Relational Connection - The end goal of Social Groups is connection. They help people connect to our church, connect with Social Group Hosts, and connect to others in the group. Relational connection is the glue of these groups.
Interest-Based - Each group is organized around a shared interest that can be activity-based (Running, Pickleball, Board Games, etc.) or an aspect of identity (Singles, Creatives, Moms, etc.). These are what draw people together for connection.
Accessible to Anyone - The first half of our mission is to reach all people, and Social Groups are designed with that in mind. There will be people from all places with God, and these groups create an environment where anyone is welcome.
Next Steps Focused - Social Groups are not meant to be the end place for someone. We believe there is always growth available, and Hosts help learn where people are in their relationship with God and help them take their next step with God and our church.
Supplement to Life Groups - Social Groups will give people a taste of what true community looks like. They are designed to be a supplement to Life Groups, not a replacement for them.

Once you apply to be a host, the following process takes place:
Schedule a phone call with someone from the Social Groups Team to discover alignment and fit.
Spend some time in prayer to discern if this serving opportunity is a good fit and aligns with the vision of Social Groups.
Onboard as a host to an existing Social Group or work through the process with the Social Groups Team to launch a new one!
Begin helping people connect with each other and our church so they can have their relationship with God get better and better!
